These calculations determine essential elements such as the appropriate rebar size and spacing grid, ensuring optimal horizontal and vertical rebar density. Additionally, we determine the ideal foundation depth, width, and wall thickness. It’s important to note that for taller mantled foundations, which essentially act as retaining walls, we adjust the rebar and concrete footing to be larger, and the stem wall wider, in order to ensure structural integrity.
